To celebrate the astounding automobiles that remain timeless despite ever-changing styles, CCTS chipped in by providing the museum with physical network infrastructure -- both wired and wireless, including Cat6 and fibre cabling -- as well as enterprise-grade wireless internet.

The Gosford Classic Car Museum houses over 400 classic, veteran and modern cars as well as motorcycles and is considered Australia’s largest collection of privately owned vehicles. With over 2,000 people attending the grand opening, ongoing demand was expected to be high, and their technology infrastructure needed to be up to the task.

CCTS IT Solutions was tasked to design and implement the latest IT, telephony and network infrastructure required to facilitate the company’s technical requirements and allow the museum to fully showcase the splendour of these timeless classics.

The first step involved providing the museum with physical network infrastructure — both wired and wireless, including Cat6 and fibre cabling — as well as an enterprise-grade wireless solution. Our expert technicians completed a full IT&T fitout for the museum ontime and on budget installing physical and virtual servers, full desktop suites, firewall routers, data switches, power redundancy, backup and disaster recovery solutions.

To enable an IT environment that delivers high availability and efficiency, we utilised and installed the latest HP server hardware and enterprise-grade virtualisation software technologies from VMware to operate on the latest Microsoft-based systems, where the solution was designed with scalability and security in mind.

Finally, to ensure the museum’s communication system will be able to keep up with the high demand, an economically efficient and user-friendly IP telephony and video conferencing solution was also established.

We’re proud to have been given the opportunity to assist the museum, and are keen on delivering ongoing tech-related service and support to them over the coming years.
